The TABS Campaign continues with the Piercing Music mission in Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. This level gives you a 1600 budget and throws a tricky enemy setup at you: 5 Bards and 11 Archers.
For this battle, the strategy was to use 11 Hay Balers. It is a simple setup, but it works because Hay Balers are built to handle arrows better than most early units. Against a stage packed with Archers, that extra protection makes a huge difference.
The biggest threat in this level is the enemy ranged damage. The Archers can quickly thin out weaker units, while the Bards can pull your army around and make the fight messy. Instead of trying to chase the Bards first, the Hay Balers stayed durable enough to push through the arrow fire and finish the battle.
The result was a win and another completed stage in the TABS Campaign progression series.
This was one of those classic TABS moments where a weird-looking army setup ends up being exactly what the level needs.
