MLB The Show 26 WBC Game 4 features the Engineers vs Mexico in an extra-inning 5-4 Diamond Dynasty win.

Game 4 of my MLB The Show 26 WBC Mini Season was easily one of the most dramatic games of the series so far. The St. Louis Engineers took on Mexico in Pool B, and it turned into a full back-and-forth battle that needed extra innings to decide it.

The early momentum belonged to the Engineers after Isac Paredes launched a two-run homer to make it 2-0. Mexico did not go away, though. They kept applying pressure, eventually tied the game, and forced this one into a much tighter battle than the early score suggested.

Later on, Alfredo Despaigne came through with a huge home run in the 8th to put the Engineers back in front. But even that was not enough to end the drama because Mexico tied it again and pushed the game into extra innings. That is where Elliot Ramos delivered the biggest swing of the day with a massive homer in the 10th that gave the Engineers the lead for good.

The finish still had tension, and Mason Miller had to shut the door in the bottom of the inning. That made this one feel like a complete game: early lead, comeback pressure, clutch late homer, extra innings, and a final strikeout to close it out. For this WBC mini season, Game 4 felt like a statement win.
